Questo errore si presenta se si hanno le seguenti condizioni:
- Guest con Windows Server 2008 R2 o Windows 7
- In Guest ha un disco connesso ad uno SCSI controller
In particolare nel mio caso l’errore è stato registrato quando ho interrogato il disco:
La causa dell’errore è spiegato nel seguente VDS Basic Provider event ID 1 is logged on a Hyper-V guest operating system dove viene indicato che l’errore può essere ignorato:
“The Virtual Disk Service (VDS) looks for the Location paths property of the controller. The value of this property is the path location of the disk. However, a virtual controller does not have this property.”
